Royal (or State) Farthings of James I, Charles I, and the Commonwealth

Rose Type with Low Scepters

There are three main types listed here. The first type has ornamented scepter handles, the remaining two types have plain. The two plain types are differentiated by the extent of the abbreviations of the legend on the obverse and the reverse.
