R  Britannia, helmeted and wearing long robes, seated on a rock facing right. Her left hand is raised and grasps a plain trident just below the prongs. Her right hand rests on the upper left edge of a large oval shield bearing the crosses of St George and St Andrew (the Union Flag). On the right side, the horizon intersects Britannia below where her legs cross. 1903 in exergue. Toothed border with a narrow, raised rim

Krause (Standard Catalogue of World Coins) indicates a Proof of this date with the shield on the reverse being heraldically colored. This listing shows up at least as early as the 3rd Edition (1990?) of Collecting World Coins. This is not listed in Spink, Peck, or others. Confirmation needed.
